Mediterranean Wellness Salad

 

We think the Mediterranean Crunch Chopped Salad Kit is completely perfect on its own, but it never hurts to add more ingredients to a salad, right? The combination of radicchio, escarole, endive, broccoli, feta cheese, pita-style chips, and our handcrafted basil balsamic vinaigrette is certainly an ideal combination bursting with Greek-inspired flavors. But if you want to take things even further, we recommend adding some fresh Roma tomatoes, cucumber, and avocado to the mix. In just a minute or two, you can create a delicious Mediterranean-inspired salad that is colorful, full of texture, and incredibly satisfying.

  1. Slice the avocado, tomato, and cucumber to the desired amount and size (we suggest slicing to half an inch).
  2. Assemble the chopped salad kit in a large bowl. Add the toppings from the package, including the feta cheese and pita-style chips, and drizzle with dressing. Toss.
  3. Add the avocado, tomato, and cucumber. Enjoy!

Avocado in a Mediterranean salad?
