Ingredients

  • 12 oz Taylor Farms Broccoli Slaw
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds

Directions

  • Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  • Assemble the Salad: On a large platter or in a mixing bowl, add broccoli slaw, sliced strawberries, dried cranberries, diced red onion, and slivered almonds.
  • Combine and Serve: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients. Using salad tongs or a large spoon, toss the salad until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing. Serve immediately as a refreshing summer side dish or light meal.

For extra crunch, you can toast the slivered almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until lightly golden before adding them to the salad.

Every Slaw Needs a Friend

Need a little inspiration for dishes that will complement your Summer Broccoli Slaw Salad? This recipe pairs perfectly with grilled chicken breast, salmon, or tilapia. The smoky, savory flavors from the grill complement the sweet and tangy notes of the slaw beautifully while giving you some delightful contrasts as well.

For a heartier option, consider serving the slaw with pulled pork or BBQ ribs — the richness of the meat is balanced out by the crisp and refreshing slaw. Another great pairing is a turkey or chicken burger topped with avocado. Try adding the slaw on top!

If you need some vegetarian options, try serving the slaw with grilled portobello mushrooms or a hearty grain salad featuring quinoa or farro. You can also serve the slaw as a side to gourmet sandwiches or wraps filled with roasted vegetables, hummus, and feta cheese. Feel free to get even more creative!
