Visualizing 4 ounces of vegetables can vary depending on the type of vegetable and how it's prepared. As a general guideline, 4 ounces of raw vegetables could be roughly equivalent to a medium-sized carrot, about 1 cup of chopped bell peppers, or approximately 2 cups of leafy greens, like spinach or lettuce.

All of our classic vegetable blends are good for you because they don’t contain any added sugars, oils, or preservatives—just fresh raw vegetables straight from our farmers. Fresh vegetables are a great source of several vitamins and minerals, especially fiber, potassium, and Vitamins A-K. What’s even better about a blend is that it allows you to incorporate a variety of vegetables into your diet, giving you a wide range of nutrients. For example, our Vegetable Medley blendcombines carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli, and provides 2g of fiber, 2g of protein, and 240 mg of potassium per serving. See ourVegetable Facts page for more nutritional information about the amazingly nutritious veggies found in Taylor Farms products.

Once the salad package has been opened, push excess air out before reclosing it tightly with a clip and store it immediately in the refrigerator to maintain freshness. Salads should be eaten within two days after opening for optimal freshness.

All Taylor Farms’ products marked “ready-to-eat” are thoroughly washed in purified water. You don't need to wash the salads or vegetables prior to eating. Rinsing your fresh vegetables again will not damage the lettuce or vegetables in any way.

We do not recommend eating a salad or vegetables after the “Best If Used By Date.” Like all fresh salads and vegetables, our products have a limited shelf life (even when refrigerated), and the “Best If Used By” instructions should be followed.
