Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat a grill to medium high heat. In a large mixing bowl, season ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide and form into 4 equal patties. Oil the grill and grill burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side until medium. Adjust cooking time if you prefer a rarer or well-done burger.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Taylor Farms Dill Pickle Chopped Salad Kit with the enclosed toppings and dressing.
  3. Toast the brioche buns in a warm oven, then spread thinly with mayo as the burgers finish cooking.
  4. Serve the hamburger patties on toasted brioche buns. Top each burger with a heaping serving of salad. Garnish each burger with one dill pickle (or as many as your heart desires).

Your Burger, Your Way

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to burger night. Now that you’ve checked the box for dill-pickle-cravings, try these other ways to make your burger your own.

Cheese: Some would say a burger’s not a burger without cheese. Just add a layer of cheddar cheese, American cheese, jack cheese, or other favorite cheeses to give this dish a gooey character.

Bacon: Is there anything that isn’t made better by adding bacon? Cook up a few extra crispy strips of bacon to take your burgers to a new level. And if you’re worried about staying healthy, you can substitute with turkey bacon, which blends in perfectly with this dish.

Onions: Sure, this one may divide the room—but for those who understand, adding raw or caramelized onions on top of your burger gives it a powerful edge.

Egg: Ok, this one is a special taste that may not suit everyone, but adding a fried egg on top of your burger adds a gourmet dimension to your burger.

Mushrooms: You can use most types of mushrooms to enhance a juicy burger. We prefer them sauteed, possibly even in the same pan as you cooked the burgers, as they tend to absorb flavor. Glorious!

Chiles: Spice things up by adding jalapenos, green chiles, or pepperoncinis to your burger adds a zesty tanginess for more spicy palettes.
