For Salad:

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prep the veggies: Place halved brussels sprouts and butternut squash onto the baking sheet and season with oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Bake for 25 minutes, turning veggies halfway through. Let cool for about 15 minutes.
  3. Unbag the salad: Pour the contents of the Taylor Farms Maple Bourbon Bacon Chopped Kit onto the baking sheet, on top of the Brussels sprouts and butternut squash. Be sure to set the dressing package aside for now, then toss all the other ingredients together to combine.
  4. Transfer the contents of the baking sheet to a serving bowl, then add the creamy garlic dressing enclosed in the kit. Give it a quick toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  5. Top with walnuts and pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!

Bringing bourbon and maple to your table

Bourbon’s rich, oaky, taste and smoky undertones is naturally warming—perfect for cold winter nights.

Naturally, we love this hearty, warming flavor in many savory dishes all winter long—and our Taylor Farms Maple Bourbon Bacon Chopped Salad Kit is as good with almost every winter meal as bourbon is with every wintry fire. Maple, too, with its caramelized sweetness and hint of smokiness, is considered a winter flavor, making it a key ingredient in classic holiday recipes like glazed hams, pecan pies, and maple-roasted root veggies. It also goes great with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, other signature winter spices.
