Salmon and Air Fryer Spicy Maple Brussels Sprouts

With its perfectly charred Brussels sprouts coated in a spicy maple sauce, the aptly named Spicy Maple Brussels Sprouts Air Fry Kit gives you an easy and quick way to prepare a gourmet side dish in just 10 minutes. But a side dish as good as this one is always better with an equally tasty main course — especially one you can marinate in maple while the Brussels sprouts cook in the air fryer. Indeed, maple-marinated baked salmon is the ideal protein to star alongside the equally mapley Brussels sprouts. And since it’s baked, it’s nearly as easy as the Brussels Sprouts Air Fry Kit. This is definitely the lowest amount of effort you’ll exert for something this good.

  • Total TIME:
  • 40 minutes
  • SERVINGS:
  • 2-3

Ingredients

  • 1 Taylor Farms Spicy Maple Brussels Sprouts Air Fry Kit
  • 2 salmon filets, about 6-8 ounces each
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Directions

  1. Prepare the maple salmon marinade. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the salmon filets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure it is evenly coated. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 10-15 minutes while you prepare the Brussels sprouts.
  3. Cook the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer according to the package. Adjust the cooking time as needed based on your air fryer model and desired level of crispiness.
  4. While the Brussels sprouts are cooking, remove the salmon filets from the marinade and place them skin-side down in an oven-safe pan. Bake the salmon filets at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, or until they are cooked through and flake easily with a fork. The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the filets.
  5. Plate the Spicy Maple Brussels Sprouts and maple salmon together. Garnish the salmon with lemon, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious air-fried meal for two!
